Saturday was suggested as a more convenient day for Junior members to meet. It may be that it would also be more convenient for non-junior members.
The Tyneside LUG attracts large numbers of members partly because they meet at lunch time on Saturday and then finish when the last person leaves or the Discovery Museum closes.
Perhaps we could have Durham meetings on Saturdays and I am still looking for feedback from members as to whether they want to meet more regularly than once a month. Perhaps we could set up the Junior LUG as a weekly event.
Philosophy?

Meeting on a Saturday sounds far better than the usual weekday night. We might be able to get the membership base up if we do this. JNELUG every week sounds far too often, even I won't be able to attend that often. Maybe once every fortnight or so.
Maybe a good idea would be to alternate. One week NELUG and the next week JNELUG.

I will contact the Library and see what facilities we could use on Saturdays. I will also look for alternative venues.

I think meeting on a Saturday is a great idea. I would normally only have a couple of hours at most on a week night. Besides some nights I can't face looking at a PC again after a bad day at work!
