Hey chaps... Finally got a linux distro that works with my broadband... but for some reason it won't autodetect my onboard sound!! I'm using an ASRock Dual Sata2 board... with the REaltek AC'97 Audio drivers... where would i get the right ones from or what should i use?

Cheers..

Hi,

From other forums on the net, it looks like the main problem is that you need to use alsamixer from a command line to un-mute everything, especially the headphone channel.

Hope this helps

Richard

If it takes 2 men a week to walk a fortnight, how long does it take a cross-eyed kipper to swim through a barrel of treacle?
